For Teori og praksis henger kultur, politikk, økonomi og levd liv uløselig sammen med arkitekturen, byene og landskapene som omgir oss – de er både formet av, og med på å forme, de samme stedene.

Teori og praksis arbeider med rådgivning, kritikk, forskning, undervisning, publikasjons- og utstillingsprosjekter innenfor arkitektur og urbanisme. 

Teori og praksis ble startet i 2012 av Gunvor Bakke Kvinlog, Mathias Kempton og Anders Rubing og drives siden 2019 av Anders Rubing.Teori og praksis operates at the intersection of the built environment, critique, text, and conversation. We welcome new ideas, discussions, and critical perspectives. At the same time, Teori og praksis seeks to open up for new voices and ideas about our built surroundings, and is always open to collaboration in various constellations. For Teori og praksis, culture, politics, economy, and lived life are inseparably intertwined with the architecture, cities, and landscapes that surround us—they are both shaped by, and help shape, the same places.

Teori og praksis works with consulting, critique, research, teaching, and publication and exhibition projects within architecture and urbanism.

Teori og praksis was founded in 2012 by Gunvor Bakke Kvinlog, Mathias Kempton, and Anders Rubing, and has been run by Anders Rubing since 2019.
